Datix is an AI data analysis product that helps users upload CSV and Excel files, connect data sources, analyze business data, and manage subscriptions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you access Datix.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
  • Business profile information such as company or workspace name.
  • Uploaded files and data you choose to analyze inside Datix.

AI and Uploaded Data

When you use Datix to analyze data, selected file contents and summarized dataset context may be processed by our service providers to generate responses. We minimize unnecessary context where possible, but users should avoid uploading information they are not authorized to share.

Payment and Subscription Information

Paid plans may use third-party payment providers such as Razorpay. We may store billing records, plan status, payment identifiers, and related subscription metadata, but we do not intentionally store complete card numbers on our own servers.

Service Providers

Datix may rely on third-party providers for infrastructure and product functionality, including:

  • Supabase for authentication, database storage, and application data.
  • Google services for account sign-in, Google Drive import, and Gemini-based AI functionality.
  • Razorpay for subscription checkout and payment processing.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the service, maintain billing records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the nature of your account activity.

Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect information handled by Datix. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also use strong passwords and limit the sharing of sensitive data.

Depending on your use of Datix, you may be able to:

  • Update account details in the product.
  • Disconnect Google Drive access.
  • Change your password.
  • Contact us to request account-related assistance.

Children’s Privacy

Datix is intended for business and professional use and is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review the situation.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are material, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice through the product or other reasonable channels.
